Wolfmother get a Grammy nomination

The band’s relentless touring over the last 18 months and increased public visibility has paid off, with a nomination in the prestigious Grammy awards. It’s the 49th year of the ‘Oscars of the music industry’, held again this year at the Staples Center, LA on February 11th.
The band are nominated in the ‘Best hard rock performance’ category, along with Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down, Tool and Buckcherry. It’s Wolfmother’s raucous performance of Woman which is being judged. The full list of nominations in this category are:
Best Hard Rock Performance: “Crazy Bitch,” Buckcherry; “Every Day Is Exactly the Same,” Nine Inch Nails; “Lonely Day,” System of a Down; “Vicarious,” Tool; “Woman,” Wolfmother.

i just want to say that wolfmother are ace…I am a 49 year old grandmother of 3 and i am hooked on the wolfies and am hoping that they take out the grammy for woman as that song roks and so do the guys
