A collaborative effort on the Wolfmother forums has almost nailed the Pleased to Meet You lyrics.

these are the only lyrics that ive found that are actually right.

The ” We believe, from repreive” part could be taken as “We beieve for a brief”.
its all good except we beleive from reprieve sounds more like with releif from the grief. and recommand, never learned is with command of her land

Thank you all for your suggestions - having listened through a few more times I think we might have nailed it with jj speedy’s final suggestions! Of course let us know if you disagree though.
The only bit I am still not totally sure about is “She is really thinking of” … I can’t make out the word “really” very well … but it still makes sense.
