Wolfmother To Support AC/DC!

I have literally just found out a few minutes ago, described as the “Ultimate Guitar Hero Battle”, Wolfmother are set to support the legendary Australian band AC/DC in the Australian part of AC/DC’s tour. Both bands will be playing tracks from their new albums, AC/DC’s “Black Ice” and Wolfmother’s forth coming album “Cosmic Egg”.
There will be 5 gig’s which Wolfmother will be supporting in early 2010 which are:
- Thu 11 February – Melbourne – Etihad Stadium (formerly Telstra Dome)

Wolfmother, of course, have yet to release their forth coming album and as front man, Andrew Stockdale has suggested, there is a possibility of a double album spectacular. Fingers crossed, “Cosmic Egg” will be on the shelves by September.
If you live in or near any of those area’s, be sure to get a ticket to see both great bands!

Sounds good, got the email before I saw this. Supporting AC/DC must be a dream come true for the Mother; should be amazing. Just waiting for UK dates now :)
Matt, the song with Slash involves Stockdale on vocals and will be released on Slash’s solo debut, Slash & Friends, not Cosmic Egg. You may have already know this, but I just wanted to be sure.
P.S. There has been no news story of Stockdale’s collaboration with Slash, as far as I’m aware. It’s pretty big news!
when is slash & Friends album coming out?
Most of the songs have been recorded, so I’m thinking it may be around the same time as our old Cosmic Egg… though that’s just a guestimation.
Nothing on Andrew Stockdale and Slash have actually been released yet… We just know that Andrew is on a track.. I want more information than that!
Slash plans to announce it all soon though… Then I will bring you the news story on it.. :D
