Andrew gets his Wolfies claws out with Slash!
May 14, 2009 by RWS
In an interview with Triple J on April 29th, Andrew spoke about what was going on in the LA studios.
He spoke about having a guest in the studios with him, this guest happened to be the lead guitarist of Velvet revolver and former guitarist of Guns ‘N Roses.
They said they just played together with acoustic guitars, and just mucked around, and hinted at the possibility of doing a song together.
Well, for the last couple of weeks, Andrew’s Twitter has been updating us on the news of Andrew and Slash’s collaboration together.
And now just recently, he’s taken photographic proof of this clash of mighty guitarists!
No news of which Wolfies song Slash has played on, nor about the Slash song Andy played on.
But keep an eye on this space and forums for more news as they come!

Someone mentioned that it was Cosmig Egg.. thats on the ac/dc post… But I am rockin’ Andrews cowboy hat :D
I never was a big Guns n’ Roses or Velvet Revolver-fan Im a little sceptic about this!
Slash rules; if he does appear on the album (which I don’t think he will, I was under the impression it was just Slash’s album on which they collaborated), it would be absolutely brilliant. Appearing on the title track, though, probably one of the more high-profile songs… hmmm. All good either way though.
in the first picture we have slash and……willy wonka?
i read somewherefrom Stockdale that slash may put down a few guitar tracks on WM’s new album
Twitter update: song should be released in 2010.
They put out a video of them recording some stuff in his home it looks like..right here

pretty awesome!
Plus, what is now determined to be the title track, cosmic egg, was just finished!
Here’s from andrew himself via twitter;
“Well it looks like the title track track “Cosmic Egg” is finished! Yes! It is a rollicking viking song! Will be a smash in the Netherlands!”
