Geez. This is totally awesome and totally annoying at the same time. What to do if you’re european for example? And why the hell doesn’t the CD deluxe edition include Fields, Jimi Cover or the (kick-ass) Cosmic Egg acoustic?
Also – The iTunes exclusives just forces me to buy the album twice, as I am going for the CD deluxe.
The sad thing is that this makes it 100 time easier to just download the torrent with every single track imaginable available.
no monolith, or inside the montain or perfect day cover :-(
thanks for compiling all of these in the one place rws! i think i’ll go for the vinyl!
dude chill out about monolith, inside the mountain, etc. they’re never going to release them, and that’s it.
SO ANYWAYS…is that pre-order for the u.s. or what? i know u can get it from itunes and i was going to get it from there, but i kind of want the physical copy u know what i mean?
wonder why they chose to leave New Moon Rising out of the deluxe vinyl?
Damn, why does this stuff have to be so darn expensive? The vinyl is going to end up being like $50.
OK, so I just check the WM site and realized that you had listed the Australian prices. I guess I was just being an ignorant American. $20 USD for a 2LP set + digital copy is very reasonable!
why can we not pre-order the vinyl LP yet on the australian store?
Fields is no longer listed on the deluxe LP, NMR is in its place.
Also Cosmonaut is available on the Deluxe Edition CD listed right above the LP.
The artwork for the deluxe version is different than the standard version..
Awesome!!
Caleb is awesome!!!
Colin is awesomefrastic! whaaaaaaat
Interpunk.com just added these to their site. Regular CD version: $13 Deluxe CD version: $19 Double LP version: $16.25
I wonder if Fields and New Moon Rising are one in the same. The lyrics of NMR mention fields turning, and it would not be the first time a WM song had a name change before release. Maybe they had just forgotten to update it for the vinyl release, and now they have
FYI . . . Wolfmother is playing in St. John’s, Canada on October 24th. It’s for a Molson Rocks concert (Canadian beer company). Got a text about it today so I’m pretty sure this is going on.
im a musician and promoter in st. john’s and it’s true. oz fm is accepting mp3s from local bands to determine an opening act!
A bit late to this gig but I can’t seem to find the Cosmic Egg Deluxe on Itunes Australia. I want my 4 bonus songs!! :(
