The Black Angels to support Wolfmother on European tour

Wolfmother are set to bring their “New Moon Rising World Tour” to the European fans from January 2010, with 16 shows in 10 countries! While it has not been officially confirmed by the band or their management, the support act for these dates is due to be an American band called The Black Angels.
While I myself have never heard of the band, here are some brief facts: formed in 2004 in Austin, Texas, the band plays “psychedelic surf rock” which, according to Rolling Stone, is akin to the musical stylings of The Velvet Underground and 13th Floor Elevators.
