Now that the boys are back, it seems we’re being flooded with Wolfmother news! Just a week ago it was revealed that the group would be returning for their first live show since August, and now we’ve got our latest confirmed track for the new album!
Tweeting earlier this morning (November 14th), frontman Andrew Stockdale shared a new video of him performing a brand new song entitled “One More Time”, with the caption “more on the way in album form”, all but confirming it for the new record. You check out the video on Stockdale’s “Telly” profile.

After months and months of… nothing, Wolfmother have finally broken the silence and announced a brand new show — their first since August 2nd.
Having spent most of the latter half of the year recording their third album (their first with the current lineup), the Australian five-piece led by Andrew Stockdale will return to the limelight with a show at the Eatons Hill Hotel in Brisbane on New Year’s Eve 2012. The gig is the group’s first Australian appearance since their performance at the Hisense Arena in Melbourne back in August, and the first since the presumed completion of their brand new (as-yet untitled) album.
Wolfmother — which is now comprised of Stockdale, Ian Peres, Elliott Hammond, Vin Steele, and Hamish Rosser — have provided fans with very few updates regarding their new record, with their official website simply reading “Wolfmother is back in the studio… stay tuned for gig updates” for the last few months. The Brisbane show will, of course, be their last of the current year, before their new album is scheduled to hit stores early next year.
