Thanks for the amusing entries to the recent caption competition! It was a hard decision, but we have finally decided that the winners are:
- Tickets for Thursday’s London gig: Chestman

I’ll be in touch with each of you shortly to arrange delivery of your winnings! Congrats!
Before I show all of the entries alongside the pics (winners highlighted), I also wanted to announce another great competition! ANOTHER pair of tickets for Thursday’s London gig! All you need to do is look out on Twitter for the competition tweet, coming up within the next hour.

Cosmic Egg Album Reviews
November 8, 2009
Following a competition on the Wolfmother Forums, several members submitted reviews of Wolfmother’s new album. I was blown away with the quality quality of entries, but I had to choose a winner … and that was Dan Leary (Danleary). Dan will receive a copy of the band’s original album, Wolfmother, in double LP vinyl stylie. Thank you so much to everyone that entered – your reviews will be immortalised on this here site (well, as long as it exists!).

Andrew to play charity event with Slash, Ozzy, Billy & more
November 7, 2009
Andrew is taking part in an amazing charity event in a few weeks, singing in the same lineup as Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Perry Farrell, Travis Barker, Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Billy Idol and Dave Navarro.
Tickets are pricey, starting at $85 … but to be honest, don’t go out tonight and buy tickets for this instead. I wish I had the cash and time to fly over and see this epic event.
Check the LAYN website for details (click the image above).
Update: Okay, so I just saw Andrew’s Twitter update and he mentions a new “Rock Spectacular” called By The Sword. New song?! Even more reason to get tickets.
