Vote for “Far Away” in the Rage 50!

Prolific long-running Australian music video program Rage is doing another year of Rage Fifty, where they countdown the top 50 best music videos of that year as chosen by you.

This year Wolfmother’s music video for “Far Away” is up for voting, so if you want to see it make the top 50, you know what you have to do! You can only vote once, BUT you can vote for a short list of up to 5 different entries.

Voting closes at midnight AEST Tuesday 14th December, and the countdown will begin on Christmas Day night.

Wolfmother in Wonderland

According to a recent news post by MTV.com, information regarding the soundtrack to Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice In Wonderland has surfaced.

The soundtrack is called “Almost Alice” and features artists “re-imagining songs from the Disney classic”.

Among bands such as Metro Station, Franz Ferdinand, All Time Low and The All-American Rejects, Wolfmother also provides a new song entitled “Fell Down A Hole”.

The entire tracklisting:

Almost Alice is set to be released on March 2nd, three days before the film hits cinemas. So mark it down on your calendars because it is a very important date!

 

Mr Tambourine Wolfmother-man, play us two gigs

Wolfmother are playing two intimate gigs on the 22nd and 3rd of Dec, but they’re very special gigs, that I think the only way to describe is by adapting an old Christmas tale…

It was the lead up to Christmas, when all through Byron Bay

Not a person stirred, not even the drunk and gay

Wolfmother on stage, acoustic guitars to be seen

They play two intimate gigs, with you playing the tambourine!

I think that’s the perfect way to sum up this news post! Except one night is going to be acoustic and the other is going to be an electric show, but bring your tambourine’s to both!
