Well, just like Wally (or Waldo as some of you seem to call him for inexplicable reasons), wm.net has been found safe and well and is back online. So wtf happened? Well, simple stupidity really! I was away for business this week and hadn’t had chance to check my emails or the site. So imagine my horror when I logged on about an hour ago to find the site gone! I expect some of you had a similar reaction, though perhaps to a lesser extent. I immediately checked the domain registration and found it had expired. Domain registrars mail you so often with reminders about domain renewals, there’s really no excuse for forgetting – though you also get so many it’s easy not to take the notice of them that you should. So yes, the domain expired – but thankfully I was in time to reactivate it, which I just did, and as you can see things are back online already.

I promise it won’t happen again and apologies for any inconvenience!

I was simply looking at a few pictures from Ian Peres facebook about the new video for ‘Far Away’. I looked at the full band shot (left) and what do I see to my horror… An upset Andrew Stockdale looking a bit light on top of his head!

Andrew has officially made the move to trim the afro which I think now makes him look a bit more Kings of Leon-ish (anyone agree?) From viewing the clip of the Apple Store gig, it appears that a far shorter afro does still remotely exist however it will be something myself and I’m sure many other Wolfmother fans will have to get to grips with. We just need sometime Andrew.. Just time to get used to it.

Far Away is going to be the thrid single from the 2009 album ‘Cosmic Egg’. Official release dates are yet to be confirmed. Recording for the video took place on the 24th February 2010 at an unknown location however with an awesome Mirror Pyramid, which I expect we will be seeing a lot more of over the next coming months!

More news to come as we hear it and YAY for my first post in ages!

The music video for single “White Feather” has popped up on the net. Forum member JasonA spotted the video at this link. The video depicts the band simply performing the song, although has some nice, sophisticated effects. Directed by Snakes & Ladders (Pete Moore & Patrick de Teliga). Check it out!
